A Message from Our Founder

Beyond Boundaries, with Smiles.

The year 2023 was a miraculous one for us. We encountered people from beyond our area and received donated vehicles to pursue our dreams. With each wonderful event that unfolded, we felt we were getting closer to our vision set in 2018 when we started: "Building a society where we support each other through reducing food loss and
waste." The food we collected reached many children in Tamano City, Bizen City, and Wake Town, expanding beyond our previous delivery areas. Additionally, our shared commitment resonated in Hyogo and Kagawa prefectures, where partnerships for food support were formed. In March, we received a long-awaited refrigerated van, enabling us to deliver fresh ingredients to a wider area and more tables than ever before.
However, even as the COVID-19 pandemic subsides, life remains challenging. Requests for food assistance from government agencies are increasing more than ever. We continue our efforts to support those facing hardship, providing reassurance at their tables, and striving for each individual to lead a self-reliant life.
Our partners, supporting organisations, donors, and volunteers make up the JapanHarvest Family. It's thanks to everyone's unwavering support that our activities thrive! We express our heartfelt gratitude to all who contribute to "Nourishing Our Country."

With deep gratitude,
Kenichi Narita
