Consultation and Coordination

Based on the information you provide in the application form, we'll schedule meetings as needed. During these meetings, we'll discuss your project in detail and clarify any conditions for providing food. (Please note that de pending on your request, we may not be able to provide food.)

Registration

Once we've confirmed that we can provide food, we'll guide you through the registration process, which may include signing agreements with Japan Harvest.

Food Provision Begins

We'll start providing food according to the discussions we've had.Examples include:

  • Giving out snacks or light meals for support programs helping low-income families.
  • Handing out food as part of taking care of people who've left certain places.
  • Using ingredients in places like children's homes or places supporting independent living.
  • Sharing food to help individuals or families going through tough times.

Please keep in mind these things don't qualify:

  • Activities for everyone, not specific groups
  • Using food for spreading awareness, not direct help
  • Selling or using food for business, not for helping
  • Cases where it's unclear where the food came from or how good it is

But, keep in mind these things don't qualify

Individuals

If you want to receive food assistance as an individual, please first contact your nearest local government office, like the city hall, or social welfare council. Let them
know that you're seeking food support from JapanHarvest and ask them to reach out to us on your behalf. We'll then work with the local government or social welfare
council to arrange food assistance for you. (If they're unable to assist, we'll explore other options.)
